Wow...My First EVER Blog

OK...where to start...

Let me first explain the title for those Literature savvy people on the web. I'm going to be getting two new rats, both are boys, and I was watching the Reduced Shakespeare Company's version of Hamlet via YouTube while thinking of names. Since they did not cover the relationship between Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, I remembered them from my AP English class (shout out to Mr. Raber) when we read Hamlet.

Staying with the animal theme, I also have two guinea pigs: Mercury and Mars, brother and sister. Here's the backstory: when my family first got guinea pigs, one of my brothers named his Saddurn (sounds like the planet, but is not spelled the same). Ever since then, I've named my guinea pigs after planets...unless I already had a planet-named guinea pig. Let's see...who have I already had...Rebecca, Harriet Geraldine Bavarian (Rebecca's daughter), Saddurn, General, and Stupid (the animal was as dumb as a rock, she was originally named Nibbles), Pluto, Maximillian Sterling, Kirby and Venus, and currently Mercury and Mars. We also got 4 gerbils: Snickers, Stubby (she had 3 paws and a stub), Buttered Toast Thing, and Oreo (our only male). long story short, we ended up with at least 28 gerbils at one time. I can not forget to mention the three rats that I've already had: Pepper aka Pepe L'Pew, Marty and Doc (inspired from Back to the Future).

Back to more pressing matters, well, pressing isn't the word, but more recent. College.

I'm an Arts Major (technically) with an emphasis on International Relations. Well, I've got class at 8am every single day. Monday through Thursday I've got a two hour break between classes, which I'll probably spend here now filling whoever reads this in on my boring life. Physics, Civilizations II, International Studies II, Arabic II, and College Composition II. Oh, so exciting. I'll probably think of more to write about tomorrow when I'm sitting bored out of my mind in the college library.

I hope this blog went relatively well.
